As Data Analyst at VASPnet, XReg Consulting’s sister company, Lia is responsible for overseeing the collection and maintenance of virtual asset service provider (VASP) regulatory data, ensuring that all data within the VASPnet platform is accurate, complete and of a high quality. She engages with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the acquisition of data and has developed and enhanced key relationships with financial services regulators across the globe.

Since joining XReg Consulting in 2020, she has improved VASPnet’s data collection and data management procedures, significantly increased VASPnet’s daily data refresh rate and identified key performance indicators to ensure data quality. She has also structured 20+ authoritative sources of data into a standard format making it easy for users to obtain and process.

Prior to joining XReg, Lia worked as an Officer on the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC)’s Regulatory Relations and External Affairs team, where she liaised with UK and international key stakeholders, media, industry associations, the Government of Gibraltar and other national competent authorities on exchange of information and the implementation of cross-departmental communications strategies. Additionally, Lia managed the GFSC and Banking and Resolution Unit’s social media, and the GFSC’s website.
